About Us

Far too often businesses are engaged in "problem solving" instead of "change-anticipating". These are two quite different approaches to thinking about the future. The first by it’s nature emanates from a perspective oriented towards the past suggesting “we have always done it this way”, the second is proactive and looking towards the future asking “how can we do things differently and better”. The latter forms the basis of the Spiral Care Solutions approach.
Spiral Care Solutions Limited (SCSL) has developed a range of tried and tested unique supportive guidance applications intended to enable any potential or existing care business to maximise their ability to deliver transparent and effective Care support, safe in the knowledge that they are availing themselves of exactly the right tools and applications to ensure that they remain compliant in a heavily regulated environment and are protecting their business for the future.

My career path has been somewhat diverse and has included professional football at league and international level, construction, quality control and for the last 8 years, Health and Social Care which is now my passion. Heading a market leading care provider is the highlight of my journey so far.

My aim within Spiral Care Solutions Ltd is to bring my life skills and the sector knowledge I have gained and pass it back to our learners, ensuring that we can strengthen the ability of the care staff within our field. Our drive is to help produce leaders of the future.

My one goal is, and always will be ‘to make sure everyone has the opportunity to better themselves through development of knowledge and skills’

I have worked in Health & Social Care for over 30 years (with a couple of small breaks) in both the NHS and the private sector and have experienced all roles from care assistant to management.

I have received a lot of training over this time and my policy is always to incorporate all the good experiences and stay clear of the bad. I have been actively involved in delivering training since the late 90’s in the NHS, and have developed my approach to training throughout. For the last 2 years I have been training in a full time capacity and have been the manager of Spiral Care Solutions since January 2016.

I am passionate about the care that all service users receive which sets the guidelines for the training we provide. I am committed to passing on my years of experience and knowledge to others and this passion formats our training philosophy which is:

‘…if we can assist staff to be the best they can be, then the care received by the individuals will be the best it can be’.

Lead Trainer

I worked in financial services for several high street banks for over 25 years and a large part of that was in a training capacity.

For the last 5 years, for both the NHS and private sector, I have worked with adults and children with learning disability, autism and complex medical needs ranging from mild to severe challenging behaviour.

I am very passionate about training and enjoy watching individuals develop their skills, knowledge and understanding. My ethos is that everyone can enjoy learning, it’s up to the trainer to make the experience a positive one.
